Chicharito will not play at Copa America

The coach of the Mexican national soccer team Miguel Herrera determine the team of 23 players for the Copa America tournament.
The Real Madrid striker Javier Hernandez and several footballers playing in Europe, were left out of the team, but will return to the Gold Cup tournament in July.
Out of the squad for the Copa America are Andres Guardado (PSV Eindhoven), Hector Herrera (Porto), Diego Reis (Porto), Giovani dos Santos (Villarreal) and Jonathan dos Santos (Villarreal). They will play in the Gold Cup tournament from 7th to 26th July.
Mexico is in the same group a together with Chile, Ecuador and Bolivia. Before the race the Alumni of Miguel Herrera will have controls with Guatemala, Peru and Brazil.
Mexico began his involvement in the Copa America on June 12 against Bolivia. Three days later, is the Derby against Chile, and on 9 June will play against Ecuador.
