A former boss of football in Chile will give testimony to the FBI
The former President of the Chilean football association, Sergio Hadue, left for the United States to give evidence before the FBI about the corruption scandal in FIFA.
The police of Chile on Friday handed the Hadue a summons to appear in court in the framework of investigation of financial dealings in the Football Association of Chile. The President of the Association Hadue announced that he resigned from his post for health reasons.
Hadue later boarded the plane, travelling from Santiago to New York. A source of the Association announced that the former President has not left in the United States on vacation, but to help the FBI in the investigation of corruption in FIFA. `He should be back on May 10 next year. Hadue is going there as an informant for the American justice.`, said the source from the Football Association of Chile.
