The Croats want the 6 points against Bulgaria and Malta

The Croation internationals prepare for matches with Bulgaria and Malta with six points and a direct quota for the European Championship in France, said the national coach Ante Cacic. The Croats will welcome Bulgaria on Saturday as the third in Group H, and on Tuesday the last game in Malta from qualifying.
`We have five days to match against Bulgaria and we need to prepare well. Every team is dangerous, if you let it be one. However, we need to show that we are able to win the next two games via fixed matches and direct quota for the European Championship in France.`, Cacic said at a press conference before the games.
`The atmosphere is good in the locker room. I sincerely hope the guys understand that these qualifications and this European Championship are the chance of their generation. I hope to qualify and get out of the shadow of the team who achieved success in France in `98.`, added the Croatian coach.
`My team and I are doing everything to protect football players from the negative energy in the Croatian football. If we succeed, we will have positive results and will please fans of the national team. However, problems affecting the players on the pitch-and incidents against Italy, the revolts of some fans and other things.`, he continued.
On the injury of striker Mario Mandzukic, Cacic explained: `Mario is in good shape, but train separately because of injury. On Wednesday, we will make a scanner to see what exactly are his problems. I hope as soon as possible to be back in our lineup and help us`.
Croatia and Bulgaria will play behind closed doors, as the penalty was imposed directly by UEFA. Cacic did not hide his disappointment: `It`s always easier to play in front of full tribunes. No sense of football without the fans. This is why we have to motivate and to defeat the Bulgarians.`
